Dear colleagues, We are pleased to announce a new corporate project: the quarterly publication FORUM-Q. Its objective is to deliver our research to market participants, as well as create a new informational ground for discussing issues of market research and analysis. By 2002 COMCON-Pharma had formed a package of four regular research projects: R-TGI `Russian Target Group Index , MEDI-Q™ `Doctors` Opinion`, Pharma-Q™ `Pharmacists` Opinion` and Prindex™ `Drug Prescriptions Monitoring `, 6,000 doctors, 1,800 pharmacists and 40,000 end-consumers take part in these surveys annually. Due to the sharp increase in the amount of information, many of the multitudinous details do not fall into a user`s main field of attention. In a developing market with a marked growth in competition, it is awareness of such "details" that often brings exclusive knowledge that could later assure an advantage over competitors in the long run. Great writers have established an opposition - `Halt, moment, thou art lovely!` and `A day lasts longer than an age../ - that seems to perfectly describe the focusing of the interests of the researcher and the analyst To know what happens today and how it can be interpreted to forecast the future: thus can be defined the mission of a research company. The task of this publication is, focusing on general measurements, to give our users a "snapshot" of the market, from different perspectives and in different colors. In addition to results of our own research, on the guest pages of FORUM-Q you will also be able to acquaint yourself with the opinion of other market participants, whose viewpoint on various problems will surely be interesting. We plan to release an issue every quarter. This frequency will allow us to provide you with the most relevant and useful information about the market.
