COSMO-QTM “Purchasing managers opinion” -
A new project of COMCON-Pharma
In the latter half of April, 2004 COMCON-Pharma conducted the first wave of a new regular survey in cosmetics market - COSMO-QTM “Purchasing managers opinion,” which covered about 300 purchasing managers in different types of retail outlets in Moscow.
The purpose of the survey is to study the set of factors influencing professional activities of key managers in retail, who form the product range at their store and control supplies of cosmetics, toiletries and household products.
This survey obtained manifold information concerning the evaluation of:
- The use of different sources of information about the market, product categories, brands and suppliers (distributors)
- Techniques of promoting cosmetic products in retail
- Activities of trade representatives of manufacturers and suppliers
- The set of services, provided by distributors
Using self-designed research technologies perfected on the pharmaceutical market, COMCON-Pharma now presents clients a specialized database with software that allows marketing specialists, analysts and sales managers to regularly receive urgent information about the market and the interaction of its participants and thus optimize promotion systems.
The results of the new survey will be presented in the middle of June, 2004.
