Let children smile

COMCON supports charity organization “Operation Smile” which is focused on treatment of congenital children`s pathology such as cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial troubles. COMCON pays for treatment of 3 children from Ulan-Ude (Buryat Republic).

“Operation Smile” is Russian charitable organization collaborating with international fund Operation Smile. Besides free children surgery "Operation Smile" teaches the local medical specialists modern technology of operation.

In Russia oral surgery does not belong to essential branch of medicine therefore the state budget doesn’t assign enough means for timely treatment. For years parents stand in a queue for surgery care at the expense of the obligatory medical insurance but they have not got an opportunity to make such operation themselves.

Thanks to this project since 1995 in different country regions more than 2400 Russian children from low-income families and orphanages have got free surgery. “Operation Smile” gives chances to such children to become full-fledged citizens and gives them smiles.
